General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC)
1. Purpose and Products
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) govern the sales of all products offered on the Mascork website (expanded cork panels, high-density acoustic panels, cork rolls, sample packs, etc.). Mascork reserves the right to add or remove items from its catalog at any time.
2. Orders and Payment Terms
For individuals (B2C) : Payment is made at the time of order by credit card (via our secure partner Stripe) or PayPal.
For business-to-business (B2B) customers : Acceptance of any quote requires full payment (100%) of the order before production or shipment begins. B2B payments are made by bank transfer.
Collection on site : For customers choosing to collect the goods directly from our warehouse, cash payment is accepted, in strict compliance with the legal limits in force (limited to €1,000 per order for French tax residents).
3. Product Specifications (Tolerances and Natural Appearance)
Cork is a natural, living, and bio-based material. As such, the customer acknowledges and accepts that:
The dimensions of the panels may have a machining tolerance of +/- 2 mm (thickness, length, width).
Variations in color, texture, and the natural roasting odor (specific to expanded cork) are inherent to the eco-friendly manufacturing process. They attest to the purity of the product and do not constitute a defect justifying a refund or refusal of the goods.
4. Delivery Times (EU Zone)
Mascork delivers its products throughout the European Union. Delivery times are indicative and depend on the nature of the order.
Products in stock: Shipped within 48 business hours.
Pre-orders: Shipping within 6 weeks.
Custom orders (from our partner factories): Delivery within 4 to 8 weeks. Delivery delays due to international customs or logistics issues will not be subject to late penalties.
5. Logistics and Site Access Conditions
As cork is a bulky material packaged on pallets, the following delivery conditions strictly apply:
Curbside delivery : The carrier will leave the goods on the sidewalk or at the property line. No handling will be carried out inside the home, on the construction site, or on upper floors.
Accessibility : Standard delivery is made by a 19-tonne heavy goods vehicle. If the delivery location is inaccessible to this type of vehicle (dirt road, narrow street, weight restriction), the customer is formally required to notify us at the time of ordering so that we can adapt the vehicle.
Consequences of inaccessibility: If the customer has not indicated these constraints, the carrier will leave the goods at the nearest accessible point. If the customer refuses this option, the goods will be returned to our warehouse at the customer's sole expense.
6. Right of Withdrawal and Returns (Only for B2C customers)
In accordance with European legislation, the consumer customer (individual) has a period of 14 days from receipt to exercise their right of withdrawal.
Return shipping costs : As the law expressly permits this practice, return shipping costs (carrier) are the sole responsibility of the customer. Returning pallets requires a specific charter, the cost of which can be high.
Condition of goods : For a return to be accepted and refunded, the goods must be returned to us in their original condition. Pallets and packages must be unopened, strapped, and in perfect condition for resale. Any product whose packaging has been destroyed, or which has been used or damaged on a worksite, will not be accepted.
