Business sales terms
1. Scope
These terms concern sales of expanded cork boards by Othmane Maaskri, a sole trader under the trade name Ecoliege, SIRET 99445109400019, Mascork brand, to purchasers acting for their professional business.
They are supplemented by the specific terms of the accepted quotation. References, characteristics, quantities and arrangements are those agreed in the contract documents. A quotation request is not an order.
2. Prices, quotations and orders
Prices are expressed in euros. The current unit-price schedule is available on request; the quotation specifies the price according to the reference, thickness, quantities, packaging and destination. Transport charges and any destination-related fees or taxes are identified in the quotation. Mascork uses the French VAT exemption: VAT not applicable under Article 293 B of the French General Tax Code.
Any price reductions and their duration are stated in the quotation. No early-payment discount applies unless otherwise agreed in writing.
The quotation states its validity period and specific terms. An order is formed after written acceptance and confirmation by Mascork. Changes require written agreement before implementation.
3. Characteristics and use
Contractual characteristics are those of the reference and documents agreed for the order. Natural variations in texture or colour are assessed against those characteristics and do not exclude applicable warranties.
The customer specifies the use and constraints. Performance, permitted applications and installation must be reviewed for the proposed board and system using the relevant evidence. The website's commercial presentation does not replace this assessment.
4. Availability and delivery
Availability and indicative lead time are stated in the quotation. The agreed delivery or shipping date appears in the order confirmation. General timing shown on the website does not replace that agreement.
Delivery location, packaging, transport costs, unloading facilities and, for international transactions, allocation of formalities and responsibilities are agreed in writing. The customer provides access and receiving constraints.
If difficulties or delays arise, contact Mascork to review the situation and possible solutions under the contract and applicable rules. See also our professional delivery page.
5. Payment and late payment
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is made by bank transfer, 100% before production or shipment, according to the order. Payment details and the due date appear on the commercial documents.
Late payment incurs penalties from the day after the due date without prior reminder, at the rate applied by the European Central Bank to its most recent refinancing operation plus 10 percentage points. The reference rate is that in force on 1 January for the first half-year and 1 July for the second.
A fixed recovery-cost indemnity of €40 is also due, subject to statutory exceptions. Additional compensation may be requested on evidence if recovery costs exceed that amount.
6. Claims and disputes
Report an issue to contact@mascork.com with the order, affected references, a description and, where possible, photographs. Keep packaging and information useful for assessment. Returns are organised after discussion with Mascork; see the returns and claims arrangements.
Each claim is assessed against the agreed characteristics, contract and applicable warranties. These terms do not limit mandatory rights available to a professional customer under the circumstances of the order.
The parties first seek an amicable solution. Otherwise, the dispute falls to the courts competent under the applicable rules. French law applies subject to mandatory provisions, particularly for international transactions.
Terms updated on 22 October 2026.
